The SIMRES Boundary Pass hydrophone array is now part of the BC Coast Hydrophone Network which is collaborating to enable scientists to quantify how the ocean soundscape is changing and how it’s affecting the whales that forage here. Learn more

FOR THE WHALES

We launched our #ForTheWhales campaign on Saturna Island on August 17th, 2019. This event included a lecture from researchers from the University of Victoria & Marine Education Research Society (MERS), along with a series of short videos of our ambassadors at the Saturna Island Community Hall.
